Our Story
Owner David Kirby, a proud Wheeling, West Virginia native, spent years dreaming of owning his own business. After working in the coal mining industry from 2009 to 2025 and being a local hero’s serving as a Fireman for many years, he decided it was time to follow his passion and build something he could truly call his own. That dream became a reality with the creation of DH KIRBY LANDSCAPING AND PRESSURE WASHING LLC.
The name “DH” has a special meaning. The “D” stands for David, and the “H” stands for his son, Hayden. Kirby represents the family name and the values it stands for—hard work, honesty, integrity, and perseverance. Those are the same values David brings to every job.
David comes from a close-knit family with four brothers and one sister. Three of his brothers work in the coal mining industry, while another works in the oil field. Together, they were raised by hardworking parents who taught them that success is earned through dedication, treating people with respect, and always standing behind your word.
David often jokes that his sister is “living the dream” in Florida, but today he believes he’s finally living his own dream. While Hayden is the inspiration behind the “H” in the company name, family means everything to David. He is incredibly proud not only to be Hayden’s father, but also to be an uncle to five nephews and six nieces. They all serve as a constant reminder of why he works so hard every day. Every lawn mowed, every home pressure washed, every window cleaned, and every satisfied customer is another step toward building a lasting legacy for the people he loves. But David truly gives all the glory to his love of Jesus.
“At DH KIRBY LANDSCAPING AND PRESSURE WASHING LLC, I believe in doing the job right the first time.
